New D&D Tool/Toy

Alright, so minis are becoming prohibitively expensive. The solution? Tokens. Not just any tokens though, homemade magic magnetic tokens. Enormous images behind the cut. I'm too lazy to shoop them any smaller (the originals were already enormous).

Here are some pictures of my experiments. I printed this test page in black and white so I can do a little playing around without worrying about wasting ink (just trees). The idea is to take these punch-outs and paste them onto a magnetic backing (which I happen to have, in 1 in diameter circles). The end result will hopefully mean less cases of "was this nickel the skeleton or the hobgoblin?"

Here's my nifty little hole punch. As shown, I can print a whole damn sheet and make an arseload of tokens. I numbered them, so now I can say with confidence "yes, that is the Dwarf you attacked last round."

Cat sappin' my picture.

Close up on the tokens. The numbering is going to take some practice (right now it involves a hellish amount of copypasting in ps6. A macro would make me happy.

If you see some art on a card you want to use, sure. But I wouldn't just bring cards to destroy for the fun of it. :P
